Injection Moulding Machine for Venturi Fertilizer Injectors
Venturi fertilizer injectors are made on horizontal injection moulding machines, usually from POM for chemical resistance, with PP used for some bodies and fittings. Machine size depends on the injector size, the side cores for the suction port and threaded ends, and shot weight. Throat accuracy matters most, because it controls suction and dosing.
Selection for venturi injectors looks at mould space for several side cores, a clean melt for POM and repeatable shrinkage at the throat. Pratishna Engineers supplies horizontal injection moulding machines for venturi injector production and can recommend a configuration for your sizes.

Machine Requirements for Venturi Fertilizer Injector Moulding
A venturi injector works only if the internal flow path is accurate and the body holds line pressure, so moulding focuses on:
- Accurate throat bore where two cores meet without a step
- Core pulls for the suction port and check valve seat
- Slides or unscrewing cores for threaded inlet and outlet
- Venting and controlled residence time for POM
- No weld line across pressure-bearing walls
- Stable holding pressure to avoid sink near thick bosses
Recommended Machine for Venturi Fertilizer Injectors
Small injectors and check valve parts fit the E Series (75-180 T), often in multi-cavity side-action moulds. Larger injector bodies with heavier walls, longer cores and several slides need more mould width and shot capacity. Depending on the tool, that capacity comes from the C Series (140-320 T) or the larger H Series (120-350 T).

FAQs / Buyer Questions
Questions fertigation equipment makers ask about moulding venturi injectors.
Which Injection Moulding Machine Is Used to Make Venturi Fertilizer Injectors?
Smaller injector sizes run on the E Series. Larger bodies with several side cores and heavier walls usually need the C or H Series, chosen by mould width, height and shot weight. Why Is POM Used for Venturi Injectors?
POM resists many fertiliser solutions, holds dimensions in water and keeps a smooth bore. It degrades if overheated or held in the barrel too long, so set melt temperature carefully and vent the mould well. How Is the Venturi Throat Moulded?
Two cores enter from the inlet and outlet ends and meet at the throat. Core alignment and wear decide whether a step or flash forms there, which disturbs flow and suction.
Do Venturi Injector Moulds Need Hydraulic Core Pulls?
The suction port and sometimes the threaded ends need side actions. Angle pins work for short cores, while long cores often use hydraulic cylinders, which the machine must sequence with mould opening. Can Pratishna Recommend a Machine for My Venturi Fertilizer Injector?
Yes. Share the injector drawing or sample, material, part weight, mould dimensions, number of side cores, cavities and required quantity, and Pratishna Engineers will recommend a machine.Does the Machine Suit Other Irrigation Parts Too?
Yes. The same machines can produce irrigation valves, screen or disc filter parts, irrigation cocks and drip line flush valves, subject to the mould.
