Injection Moulding Machine for Health Faucet Heads, Triggers and Handles
Health faucet heads, triggers and handles are made on horizontal injection moulding machines, often in a separate mould for each part, from ABS, POM and PP. Machine size follows the head and handle mould, the cavity count and shot weight. On chrome-plated heads, plating-grade ABS and a polished cavity matter most, because flow marks show through the plating.
Machine selection for jet spray parts balances two needs: enough shot for the plated head and handle body, and tight, repeatable injection for the small trigger and valve seat. Pratishna Engineers supplies horizontal injection moulding machines for health faucet moulding and can recommend a configuration for each mould.

Machine Requirements for Health Faucet Moulding
A health faucet mixes a cosmetic plated body with small working pieces, so the machine has to suit both:
- Dry plating-grade ABS before moulding the head and handle
- High-polish cavity with gates kept off the show face
- Repeatable small shots for the POM trigger and valve seat
- Tight size control at the trigger spring seat
- Low moulded-in stress so plated parts do not blister
- Clamping force matched to the handle mould, not oversized
Recommended Machine for Health Faucets
Head and handle moulds in ABS usually fit the E Series (75-180 T). Trigger and valve seat moulds are better on the smaller end of the same series, where the shot uses a fair share of barrel capacity and repeats well. The H Series (120-350 T) suits multi-cavity handle moulds with a larger mould base.

FAQs / Buyer Questions
Questions plant heads ask when they set up health faucet moulding.
Which Injection Moulding Machine Is Used to Make Health Faucets?
Most head, handle and trigger moulds fit a horizontal machine in the E Series. The H Series comes in when a handle mould carries more cavities or a bigger mould base. Each part is sized on its own mould. Why Does a Chrome-Plated Head Need Plating-Grade ABS?
Plating-grade ABS has a rubber phase that etches evenly, which lets the metal layer key into the surface. General ABS can etch unevenly and blister after plating. Dry the resin well and keep moulded-in stress low.How Are Weld Lines Kept Off the Faucet Head?
Gate position decides where the flow fronts meet. Place gates so weld lines fall on the hidden side, vent the meeting points, polish the cavity and run enough melt and mould temperature. Plating shows any line left on the show face.
Should the Trigger and Valve Seat Run on a Smaller Machine?
Often yes. On a large barrel, a small POM trigger sits too long at heat and the shot is hard to repeat. A smaller screw holds the spring seat and sealing face size from shot to shot. Can Pratishna Recommend a Machine for My Health Faucet?
Yes. Share drawings or samples of the head, trigger and handle, the material and plating plan, part weights, mould sizes, cavity counts and monthly volume, and Pratishna Engineers will suggest suitable machines.Does the Machine Suit Other Sanitary Fittings Too?
Yes. The same class of machine can mould overhead and hand showers, angle cocks, bib cocks and plastic taps, subject to the mould and material.
